Mr. Leonce is a Saint Lucian-born economist and father. He attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Management from the University of the West Indies and a master’s in science degree in Finance and Investment from Durham University in the United Kingdom. He has over 15 years of experience in building and managing professional relationships and projects between multiple stakeholders in a wide array of settings, including government. He is a keen participant in the digital space particularly concerning data visualisation and data analytics, having advanced knowledge of software packages such as Tableau and Stata and programming languages such as R. Furthermore, Mr. Leonce is a published author with papers in the Journal of Eastern Caribbean Studies and the World Journal of Entrepreneurship, Management and Sustainable Development. Mr. Leonce’s research interest includes labour market functioning, particularly concerning gender disparities. Mr. Leonce is the Chief Economist at the Department of Finance in Saint Lucia.
